A Study on the Worker's Layout Criteria for the Rehabilitation Facilities for the Disabled

Abstract
This study analyzes the appropriateness of the criteria for the placement of disabled workers and their job names, and prepares the appropriate criteria for the placement of disabled workers in the future. To achieve the purpose of this research, the final 295 parts were utilized for the analysis by distributing questionnaires to 652 vocational rehabilitation facilities for the handicapped. The study found that the standards for the placement of the director, the director of the office, the nurse, the nutritionist, the clerk, the cook and the hygienic staff were appropriate under the condition of the appropriateness of the criteria for the worker's placement as provided in the "Act on Welfare for the Disabled". And the standards for the placement of vocational training teachers, production and sales managers and facility management technicians were not appropriate. In addition, it was found that the titles of the facility manager, the director, the nurse, the nutritionist and the office clerk were appropriate, and the names of the cook, the hygienist, the production and sales manager, and the facility management engineer were not appropriate. Based on the results of this study, practical suggestions are offered to establish of proper standards for the placement of workers in rehabilitation facilities for the disabled. First it is needed to develop standard job manuals for the disabled workers. Second, a clear regulation on the type of work of the workers needs to be established.
